we did some pohutukawa art with Mrs Cutler because we are learning about the bush and we had to mix the dye and it was very hard to keep in the lines. The hard part was putting the white crayon to out line what we used was crayons and dye we had to highlight and out line the best part was dyeing we had to make the shape. We did a draft then did a big paper we did not rub out on the good copy the good copy had to be better then the bad copy.
We used paint brushes for the dye the dye colours were purple light green and dark green blue we were allowed to mix the colours. the stalk has to be thick. the background is blue.
